Methodology & sources. Vacancy counts via the official Adzuna Developer API (Germany and Austria), using a fixed taxonomy of executive search terms per vertical; monthly collection, base period = first month measured = 100. The index reflects the publicly advertised share of the executive market; confidentially filled mandates are by definition not included. Individual postings may be counted under more than one search term; the value lies in the trend, not in the absolute level.
